Measurement

We finished our unit on length and area.  We measured the room and different things around the room using our feet and unifix cubes.  

 After measuring the length of the room, we put the cubes into groups of ten and then into groups of hundreds.  We found out the our room is 452 unifix cubes long!

Students used the square tiles in the hallway to determine the area of different shapes.

We used Kidspiration to create figures with different areas.
